London Loves LA is the brainchild of sisters Sophie & Ella Berman, they decided to start sourcing vintage treasures from over on the West coast when they discovered us Londoners love for original one-off vintage, which can be hard to find in London.
The shop had pretty much anything you could want.. cute leather rucksacks, coloured embellished jumpers, band tees, leather & suede tasseled jackets & capes, sequinned dresses, baseball jackets, loads of tie dye, checked shirts, pussy bow blouses, snakeprint hareem trousers, levi's denim jackets, patterned playsuits - everything!
The quality of the clothes & stock is really good, there wasn't much of the usual hole checking I do in vintage shops - yes I do this after once I brought home a blouse to find one of the sleeves had been folded under & held with white masking tape!
The one thing I really really wanted over everything else, a pair of sparkly, sequnnied Minnie Mouse ears! ..were unfortunately not for sale, but the lovely Sophie gave me her email address and said that on her next trip to LA she would try & bring me some back - amazing!
London Loves LA are off across the pond again in a few weeks to hunt down more sparkly, unique pieces, looking forward to seeing what the magpies find :)
